Bensalem High School  Baseball

“The Bensalem High School Baseball Program is committed to academic, athletic, and personal excellence. In the pursuit of excellence, the Bensalem Baseball Program will challenge all members to achieve the highest level of intellectual and physical development, and as members of the Bensalem High School community, the Bensalem Baseball Program will be held to the highest standard of conduct.”

The Bensalem Baseball Program has built a strong record of success both on the field and in the classroom in the last several years.

Bensalem’s overall record at the varsity level for the past 8 years (2012-2019) is 103-59. As one of the smaller schools in the Suburban Conference, arguably the strongest league in the state, Bensalem continues to compete at a high level in which both the school and the baseball program can be proud of.

The Bensalem Owls have put together six straight winning seasons. Most recently in 2019, Bensalem finished 17-5 and made it back to the District Playoffs for the third year in a row and beat top ranked Downington West in the second round. In 2018, the Owls made it all the way to the PIAA 6A State Championship. Bensalem also captured the Suburban One League Title, as well as, the District One Title. The Owls finished with an impressive 23-4 record and were ranked #1 in the state, which brings the Owls two year run to a remarkable 40-9 record. In 2017, Bensalem High School lost a heart breaker 1-0 in the second round of playoffs to Methacton High School. In 2012 the Bensalem High School Baseball Program was ranked as high as fifth in the state, with a record of 16-4. The team also played for the league championship but lost 8-7.

Academically over 95% of our seniors have gone on to attend a college or university such as Penn State University, Arizona State University, West Chester University, University of Pittsburgh, West Virginia, St. Joseph’s University, East Stroudsburg, Temple University and Philadelphia University. Additionally, 29 of our players have signed college commitments/scholarships to play baseball at Bloomsburg University, Drexel University, Holy Family University, Morgan State University, University of Maine, Arcadia University, Monmouth University, University of Maryland, Lockhaven University, Wilmington University, Wesley College, North Carolina Wesley, Gwynedd Mercy College and many more higher level institutions. Once again, academic and athletic numbers in which the school and program is very proud of.

Bensalem High School Baseball has two great feeder organizations in Valley AA and also the Bensalem Ramblers in which players come from.

The Bensalem Baseball team is fortunate enough to play on one of the top fields in the area.

The Program looks forward to continued success for 2020 season, both in and out of the classroom.

Thank you very much,
